Brenna’s Last Day

Hello Families,

As you can see from the title, our Palm Room teacher Brenna will be leaving us. Her last day will be this Friday. I know many of you have made a good connection with her and, like us, will be sad to see her leave. Brenna has enjoyed her time with us here at Little Chicks, but has made the decision to move forward with her long-term career goals. As such, she is making the transition to working on the surgical unit in a local hospital as a CNA, while continuing to pursue her nursing degree. We wish Brenna all the best in her new role.

To help ease this transition, Brianna will be returning to the Palm Room to work side by side with Ransom and Katlyn. While working in the nontraditional program, she has continued to visit with and check in with the Palm Room.

I know that this will be the second change for you and your children in the last 5 months, and that you may be feeling sad or frustrated. I completely understand, and share, these feelings. While Little Chicks’ goal is to provide consistent teaching staff, sometimes, things are beyond our control. As the teaching community shrinks and the need grows, I am continually on the lookout for well qualified and dedicated staff. I can not skimp on the required qualities of our staff, as your children are far too important to just have anyone call themselves a teacher in our program.
