Staying Open for Essential Workers

Hi everyone! We are working hard on keeping up to date with Governor Evers recommendations for child care centers during the ‘Safer At Home’ order that will begin tomorrow.

So far, we have been told “All child care programs serving health providers and essential workers are requested to stay open. You are providing a critical service in allowing essential workers to keep our communities safe and healthy.”

We serve essential workers, so we are planning to stay open.

For now we will only have our non-traditional location open. If you are normally at our traditional center and are an essential worker you would drop off at our non-traditional center.

If you can email me to let me know if you are an essential worker and plan to come to Little Chicks that would be great.

I know many if you have questions about who is essential, what will happen to your tuition payments if you’re non-essential, and what changes we’re making to group size and staffing.

We are working on all of that. We are in communication with DCF and WECA and we will update you as soon as we have definitive answers.

We are so grateful to your patience and compassion during this time. We have an amazing community and we are truly doing a beautiful job of taking care of each other!!
