We will be closed next Friday, July 3rd in observance of July 4th.
Thank you to everyone that has been able to take a few moments to fill out our new online enrollment system. At this time I still need to you to fill out the online enrollment information and all the paperwork I sent. You should be able to type right in the paperwork I attached. If you know how you can upload it to your profile, if not you can just send it to me and I can upload it into your profile for you. Doctor forms can also be uploaded to the file or faxed to me so that I can upload them. The idea is to hopefully not have to print too much anymore and everything be accessible to teachers in this new program.
I appreciate your patience as we all learn this program together. As always please email or call me if you have any questions.
Throughout the day you will be getting an email from me that provides a link to our new online enrollment system. I will be sending this to families that are contracted past July. Through this system you will be able to do your children’s paperwork and teachers can send you reminders when the paper work is due.
The teachers and I will also be able to keep track of attendance and send notes through the system.
Once the email is sent please fill out the information needed as soon as you can.
If you have any questions please feel free to email me.
I hope all of the new drop off and pick up procedures are going well for everyone. I appreciate the patience and understanding as we navigate a new way of doing things for awhile. If anyone has questions, concerns or comments on any of the new procedures or anything at all please feel free to email or call me.
Becky has officially handed sending out receipts to me now. With so many enrollment changes that have been happening in the last couple months I would like it if you could email me, email@example.com, your receipt requests.
I just wanted to remind you that we sent out a survey on May 17th to find out when families are returning. We understand this is a difficult decision. We are preparing all of classrooms to re-open and it would be nice to know when to possibly expect your children back. The teachers and I are all looking forward to seeing your kids, we have missed them so much.
Please respond to the survey as soon as possible or feel free to email me directly. If you have financial questions you may reach out to Becky.
I hope you all are doing well and will have a fun and relaxing holiday weekend.
Just a reminder we will be closed on Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day. I hope you all have a safe and healthy weekend.
Many families replied to our survey request with questions about what our health procedures would be for this summer. We have taken the input of several outside agencies into account as we created these. Below you will find links to the policy guidelines and our updated health screening questionnaire.
We look forward to welcoming your child back to Little Chicks, but want you to feel comfortable returning. We hope you’ll take the time to review these guidelines and let us know if you have any questions or concerns. We look forward to hearing from you!
Becky, Jessie and Amanda
Hi Little Chicks Families!
LCLA is in the planning stages of reopening the center for all our contracted families. We plan to re-open to non-essential families when Governor Ever’s ‘Stay at Home’ order would have expired. This means welcoming you back on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Over the next week, you will receive information on what policies and procedures have changed since COVID-19 entered our world. For those of you who haven’t been to the centers since March, we want you to be able to prepare yourself and your children for how we might be doing things differently. Becky is helping all Dane County child care centers set the standard for safe practices during this time. She is also on the MMSD advisory committee that is helping schools navigate all the options for re-opening this fall.
Because we are working to keep our numbers lower than what they were previously, at least for the summer, it will help us to have an idea of when your child will be returning to the center. Please use THIS FORM to help us gather that information. If your child is not planning to return at all, please indicate this and we will reach out to you to discuss your contractual obligation. We have had several families end their contracts during the closure. We do want you to know that there will be changes to enrollment in some of your children’s rooms. We will be taking some new contracts, some spaces will remain empty to help us maintain a smaller exposure risk for children within the centers.
We know that financial planning is as important for your household as it is for our business. LCLA is still in good standing. We were able to access the second round of CARES funding via the Paycheck Protection Program to keep all our staff employed during the closure. This funding expires at the end of June. In order to remain in good financial standing, we are asking families who needed time off to begin planning for returning to their contracted tuition rates the first week of June 2020. This means returning to your previous tuition rate for the Friday payment on June 5, 2020. We hope this gives you enough time to plan. If you are still encountering hardship, please reach out to Becky at firstname.lastname@example.org.
April tuition statements have gone out via email. Since there have been so many changes in weekly tuition payments, if you still need a statement, please email Becky (email@example.com) and let her know.
Going forward, Amanda will be preparing monthly tuition statements. These statements will be emailed to families who have requested them during the first week of each new month. If you need a tuition statement, please let us know!
