Little Chicks was started in 2003, as Chicken Soup, by two Pediatric Registered Nurses to provide non-traditional child care. At LCLA, we understand that not all families fit the traditional child care mould. Some families need a rotating child care schedule or short term contract options. In 2007, LCLA expanded to include four classrooms of traditional child care options. Our owners are still a very active part of the day-to-day operations of the centers. LCLA will remain a private, independently owned and operated small business. We are committed to continuing to provide out of the box child care options so that ALL families have access to high quality child care.
Meet Our Administrative Team!
Chanel Clark is the Director of both the Traditional and Non-Traditional Centers at Little Chicks Learning Academy. I began my career here over four years ago as a classroom teacher, moved into an Assistant Director role, and most recently, became Center Director. I find great joy in working with staff, children and their families.
I earned my first degree in Early Childhood Education in 2009 from Chippewa Valley Technical College and will have a second degree in Integrative Leadership Studies with an emphasis in Human Development in 2015 from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. It is my sincere hope that I am able to work with you and your family soon!
